Do You Feel Lucky Today?

Luck. How many things are combined together in this word! Do you actually believe in Luck, and what does it mean to you? Or maybe you do believe that only hard work can bring you to the desired goal? Let’s check the list of “Lucky celebrities” and see if it’s so.

Eminem, well-known rapper, how did he become famous? He simply brought his CD to a record studio, did they invite him to record the album straight away? No, of course not, they even threw it to the trash can, but… somehow the producer took it away from there (!) and signed a contract with him, is he Lucky? I guess so! Or what about  Charlize Theron, South African diva,  who lived her usual life until she was noticed by one of the producers  while screaming in the bank, because  they didn’t want to cash her check out?  I’ll give you more, actor Ryan Phillippe went to the barber shop to cut his hair one velvet morning, somehow he didn’t reach his final destination, guess why? Yes, the same answer, simple luck brought him to where he is right now. There are actually many examples of lucky celebrities, like Lucy Liu, who was chosen to act in the movie instead of her friend that she came to the casting with; Michelle Pfeiffer, who was just a shop-cashier and prevented a robbery, so people saw her picture in a local newspapers and so did the producers, Milla Jovovich, Naomi Campbell, Lilly Allen and some others. I’m sure you can find all the information regarding their career in the internet. But I’m sure these celebrities were not just walking around looking for someone to make them famous. I believe only hard work and great desire to succeed in something that you are doing or going to do together with a bit of luck will lead you to the peak of the mountain and bring you everything you are looking for.  

What do I do for my own luck? It may sound funny, but I’m wearing a little silver pendant with my name on it, does it help? Hm. I believe so, but what I really do believe is that simple smile and wishing each other “good day” like you mean it, provide you with an excellent mood for the rest of the day and help you to overcome all the difficulties you may meet. Positive vibes you sending to the people around you will definitely pay you back by bringing you Luck.
