The Ways We Are Moved Along

How do our working relations with people, or with our surroundings, differ from our generally taken relations with people and the surroundings? Let’s think a bit – and as soon as I remove an artificial framework I created and such time intervals like «at home», «at work», «on holiday», it turns out that nothing changes. After all, the Way, we have chosen, affects our present reality in any case. And furthermore, it changes and rearranges our reality of tomorrow.

It’s possible to move by the Way, being at work or in the family. This movement can even affect and permeate all aspects of our lives. In any case, there is a place for reciprocal influence between us and our environment. We were, are and will be existing and working with people as well as they were, are and will be existing and working with us.

What is this? Fate, doom, predestination?.. Or rather - on the contrary – endless vistas of our potential. By selecting movement by the Way, by declining delusive temptations of wild and blind pathlets, we get the True opportunity to create Today the real history of our movement from every “tomorrow”. How do all this related to everyday work and "everyday life"? The working relationship, the projects we implement, challenges we take a dear, emerging conflicts and short-term wins – all these are either fragments – just constituent parts – of our Ways or something that we usually meet on the sidelines of any Way (be it just a tiny pathlet).

So. We start. Start working. Working in whatever company, in some kind of a project, with some people, having something like a position, and – what’s obligatory – in some role position. We are surrounded by people only. Even if we work homesittingly, via Internet for example, or just by post, or by telephone. Our world, our reality, our today are run through by diverse communication channels connecting us with all other carriers of collective agreement about the current common reality. We just can’t but interact, cross, and communicate with other people. It’s out of our forces to leave the world without our participation in universal communication.

What would be the easiest way to imagine a field of all our communication channels and people who take part and concern these channels? In the form of a network. Every small  (and not even so little) knot – is either a man who we somehow communicated, contacted, and connected with, and influenced, or a person who communicated, contacted, connected, and influenced us. Threads connecting these knots and bundles – are channels of communication. These are our mutual influences, impacts and talks. They are not always direct. Very often they exist while there are many and many other suchlike people-knots around.

What can (or should – it’s completely up to you to decide what word is more appropriate here) be done to avoid that any job has just start and finish points and nothing more? How to make its content becomes really meaningful - not only in thecourse, but also in the total result? What makes that the result of our job – even if it’s done for someone when hired for a short-term – is demanded for us (ourselves) in the future?

As a starter, it is important to understand that we are knots of others’ networks as well.  And there are a lot of acting communications in terms of other people connected to this knot. If nobody communicates, interacts, and contacts with us, it means then that we represent no knot, even in terms of someone’s network.

If there is no a single thread of communication going through us – it means that we do not exist. The world does very well without us, because it does not even know of our existence...

Let's continue. So, we are already at the early beginning of a Start. We are already the knot which is actively involved in the network of universal communication. What at this exact moment are we, considering the existing network, which we are involved in? In terms of our impact on the network – we are nothing yet. Because we see only the closest elements available for us. Those ones, which are available at arm's length. In direct touch. In terms of a network - we represent a point, a knot, and an accessible and influencable object which is included in the chain of reciprocal impacts through many steps. The question is only how to properly influence the knot, which is accessible for us after ten transitions, to sure that our further impulses will lead us to the reaction we desire. It seems unlikely? Without relationships, implying potential bilateral impacts, the network can not exist. In case there was no active state by a certain relationship in general, such connection may not be considered a relationship at all. Therefore, on the one hand, the network is based on potential interactions. And on the other hand, the probability, that these interactions will become active, is maximal as well as the situation, when there is a purposeful influence on us as on the knots located in ten transitions from the initiator of influence, is more than real.

What changes for us while realization of some of our enterprises, while moving (all the more - when this movement is deliberate) by some Way? What inexorably changes is time. I mean it will changes at the physical level. Days, weeks and months will flow as well, as years… What changes for us, except time? Significant changes may take place, considering our social status and role. What first are these changes measured with then?

Not an easy question (exact gray truth). And we’ll try to find an answer for this question…
