Rear Your Own Cheetah

Our everyday intensive life requires more and more high-skilled and organized systems for business planning, enterprise development or company staff effective interaction in the way to achieve joint goals by joint efforts with less wastes and more effectiveness.

In the meanwhile the nature keeps staying the main Pierian spring and role model regarding effective productivity and harmonious development. Let me go deeper in natural selection to describe the greatest project manager in the world – nature.

Concerning biological classification “System of one level differs from other levels both by structure and organizational ratio” (Surmin «Systems theory»).  That’s why different types of living creatures struggle for their surviving with different methods mostly depending on their level of organization. But important is what unites practically all of them: as species they are all high-competitive.

Let’s compare a cheetah and a virus. for example. One unit of cheetah is much more adaptable for environmental conditions than one unit of virus in the same place. It’s so, because cheetah is organized according to the latest requirements of the environment it lives in. Thanks to high organization of its organism, it can survive in a very large extent of different conditions changing by temperature, space and elemental ranges. Thanks to its dynamical structure, where such perfect systems as bone structure, breath system, and full-blown mechanism providing the process of anoxic digestion of glucose till the lactic acid – all that provides the cheetah with the golden critical last seconds in lightning-speed pursuit for prey. Thanks to its well-organized immune resistance it can struggle with many parasites and simpler organisms.

No doubt, using business vocabulary, that the competitive property of the cheetah is speed. Studying one cheetah unit, such speed is the result of harmonious work of the whole smoothy running system its organism represents. And the nature is project manager concerning its life and creator concerning its organism structure and modern properties.

And no doubt that suchlike high-level organization permits to one unit of cheetah to be worlds-apart more adaptable for life that one unit of virus. But… Virus has its own competitive properties: long-time existing without vital resources, and what’s more important quality – possibilities for very intensive distribution: one unit of virus can die even of slight change in temperature, but it will die giving life for thousands of new units… From the point of organization of one unit, it turns out that internally the virus is organized in a very poor manner. But what lets them survive is their so-called social and genetic perfect organization.

Using business vocabulary, its competitive property is lightning-termed distribution and prodigious growing in number. And the nature is project manager concerning its life and creator of their social organism structure.

Observing such obvious examples in nature, let’s pass to business. Nowadays there are multiple ways to organize survivability and create productivity. Usually business initiators have no powerful social gears. And we know very well that having such key levers, it’s possible simply and quickly organize practically any business operation: development, promotion, distribution. etc. And many are googling the Web in trying to find a clear answer for the question – how to provide survivability and productivity of a certain company? Answers are spread around us.

It may be that somebody will be able to create a virus-cheetah hybrid, if man could beat the nature wisdom. Let me stay in belief that it’s possible to raise such a hybrid being really harmonious both internally and externally, because in business the man is project manager and creator.

And finally it’s to consider to you what level of organization you choose: more expanded when there are a great deal of simplest business operations or tight-conditioned firms with little lifecycle which need to be created in mass and which die in mass – like a virus-model, or to think and adjust the high level of organization which is to be built with care and patience, but lives much longer and affects the world with its quality, grace and effectiveness – like a cheetah model. What I’d advice for nowadays, my friends - study nature’s business before starting to compete with it, and try to reiterate its products and markets. Rare your own cheetah for a starter.
